Privacy Policy
Labrynth Studios ("Labrynth," "we," "us") operates labrynth.co (the "Site"). This policy explains what information we collect through the Site, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Site only, not to information we collect by email or in person once a project is underway.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you send us a project brief through the contact form, we collect what you enter: your name, your business name, your email address, your business type, a budget range, a timeline, the address of your current website if you have one, and your message. That is the only form on the Site. We do not ask for a phone number, a street address, or payment details.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you view, and the time of your visit. This is used to operate and secure the Site. We use Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics service, to count visits and see which pages are popular. It does not use cookies and does not collect personal information about you. The Site's code libraries load from a third-party server (unpkg), which sees your IP address when your browser requests them, as with any file loaded from the web. Fonts are served from our own domain.
Cookies. The Site does not set cookies for tracking or advertising. If you switch the Site's color theme, that preference is stored in your own browser and never sent to us. Our hosting provider may use strictly necessary cookies to deliver the Site securely.
How we use information
- to reply to your inquiry, prepare a homepage mockup, and discuss a project with you;
- to operate, secure, and improve the Site;
- to comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We do not send marketing email or text messages.
Who we share information with
We share information only with the service providers that help us run the Site, and only as needed for that purpose:
- Vercel hosts the Site and provides the cookieless analytics described above.
- Formspree receives what you submit through the contact form and delivers it to our inbox. Submissions are stored on Formspree's servers as well as in our email.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiry and client information for as long as needed to respond to you and carry out our work, and afterward as required for business records and legal obligations. We delete inquiry records that did not become projects after 6 months.
Your choices
- Review, correct, or delete your information: email hello@labrynth.co and we will handle your request within a reasonable time.
- Do Not Track: because the Site does not track visitors across websites, there is nothing to opt out of; we do not change the Site's behavior in response to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
- Third-party tracking across sites: no third party collects information about your activity on this Site over time and across other sites.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limiting who can access it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy here with a new effective date. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
